A versatile cellist and teacher, Dr. Henry Myers has delighted audiences with his dazzling blend of technique and shrewd musicianship. As chamber musician and recitalist, he has performed throughout the United States, with recent engagements including concerts at the Eastman School in Rochester, New York, Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and Truman State in Kirksville, Missouri. Henry is also an accomplished soloist, having given a notable performance of William Walton's Cello Concerto with the Eastman Philharmonia in 2018.

She has appeared as a recitalist at the Bellingham Festival of Music’s “Welcome Home” concert series and has held fellowship positions at the Marrowstone Music Festival and at Bamfield’s Music by the Sea. With a background in both performance and education, Maya studied string pedagogy and elementary education at Oberlin. She believes in student-centered learning and designs individualized lessons based on her students’ goals and interests.
