Eddie Henderson is the Professor of Jazz Trumpet at Oberlin Conservatory. He began playing trumpet with Louis Armstrong at age 9 and has since performed with jazz legends Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and many more.
Roy Poper, Trumpet Professor at Oberlin Conservatory, has spent his career recording over 2000 movie soundtracks (including Jurassic Park and The Simpsons) and performed in operas and orchestras around the world, including Berlin Philharmonic, LA Chamber Orchestra, and Cleveland Orchestra.
Brian Alegant was named U.S. Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Endowment for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. Alegant is the chair of music theory at Oberlin and a world-renowned educator and musician.
