Annabelle Freedman is an interdependent music artist.

". . . there’s something affecting and even mystical going on. Marvel at it."
-Buzzbands.la

Based in Los Angeles, Annabelle brings upcycled sounds to wherever you are. Through the use of undulating vocals, expansive production, NS electric violin, and Fender's Tenor Tele, their work welcomes your company into the magnificent as well as the mundane.

Their songs "Sanctuary" and "Mirror's Eye / Goin Within" each with CAPYAC have been favored by many Spotify playlists and radio shows.  Their collaborative track "Mirror's Eye / Going Within" was also featured on the ABC series, Grownish.  Their release, "Blastin Pastem" with Zhao, broadcast on NPR, premiered on KCRW's most popular show, Morning Becomes Eclectic, and was played by KCRW DJ's Novena Carmel, Valida, Anne Litt, Raul Campos, and Aaron Byrd. It has been listed as an uplifting song to sooth and relieve during this 2020 pandemic, and made the top 20 of 2020 list of several KCRW DJs.  Annabelle's premiere single, "Hear My Mind" was selected for a Dolce and Gabbana ad, and has been selected for Spotify playlists as well as played on radio stations internationally.  This tune has enjoyed radio airtime in Johannesburg, Mexico City, Tokyo, London, Berlin, Rio de Jinero, and more.

Their second single, "Steady (feat. Def Sound)," with Smile High was chosen by Fender as "release of the month" and favored by Spotify playlists and KCRW DJs alike.  "Little Toes," their third single, blended the worlds of Annabelle and CAPYAC.  The team created and captured visuals to the tune in a music video by Lance Williams. The video and song have been enjoyed by international publications, landed Spotify playlists, got generous KCRW radio time, and even played on the metro screens throughout Mexico City.

Annabelle's EP, Free Debris, premiered as an 8-track exploration; "For an EP, it’s album-length in both quantity and emotional heft" (Buzzbands 2019).

In 2022, Annabelle released their first full length album, Breadcrumb Libations across streaming services.  Produced alongside Rachel White, the project highlighted Annabelle's original productions along with a full band. This album was the first time Annabelle began working with choir and string arrangements.  It is the most cohesive, intentional, and brave body of work Annabelle has shared so far. With subjects ranging from caregiving to bliss, from assault to love letters to their younger self, this project is teeming with life.  It's filled with affirmations that cary us through.

Wolf is an unreleased short film that was created as an expansion of the song, Wolf off of this album. This project is an ongoing community container aimed at expanding what we know is possible through creating a consent culture.

In 2023, Annabelle was featured on the track "Unhurt Us" on Aja Monet's Grammy-nominated album, When the Poems Do What They Do.  Annabelle was also a featured vocal artist, co-producer, and string composer throughout the grammy considered album From South Central to the World, by Def Sound in 2024.

Annabelle has played the festivals SXSW, Broke LA, Chinatown Summer nights (KCRW, LA Weekly), Underground Music Showcase (Denver) and more.  The performed venues including The Lodge Room, The El Rey, The Moroccan Lounge, The Echo, Bottom of the Hill and Bootleg Theater.  In addition to their solo project, they accompany violin, production and vocals with other artists including Aja Monet, CAPYAC, Def Sound, Holy Wars, The Main Squeeze and more.
