Dayna is a New York based multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. She studied at the Music Conservatory at Purchase College, under grammy-award winning musicians, composers, and music producers. With a background in classical music, she focuses on the Suzuki method while teaching strings. She is a seasoned performer and session musician, having performed at various venues in and around NYC. Over the past decade, she’s taught students of all ages and skill levels. She prides herself on her ability to help her students analyze and overcome specific obstacles in their playing, while fostering their love of creative expression. She strongly believes in giving her students the strong foundational and technical skills needed to succeed while also making lessons fun and enjoyable.

Dayna is a passionate advocate for the performing arts and believes that everyone has something to express through them. In addition to her musical studies, she has studied at the William Esper Studio for actors, where she was trained in the Meisner Technique. She incorporates aspects of this into her teaching by encouraging her students to explore mindfulness, and their inner emotional world, as it pertains to their performance.

Her students have gone on to receive outstanding scores on solo competitions, gain acceptance into all-state and all-county orchestras, master their college auditions, release albums, produce their own songs, and become confident musicians and songwriters.
