Molly McLinden

I’m a passionate and experienced vocal coach dedicated to helping singers of all levels find their unique voice and make it shine. With a diverse musical background and years of teaching under my belt, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from all walks of life—from professionals gracing stages and screens to those simply wanting to sing for the joy of it. My own musical journey began with rock, my first love, before leading me to study classical voice at the Boston Conservatory and complete my degree at Millikin University. Along the way, I honed my craft through master classes with opera professionals and performed with the renowned Lira Ensemble post-graduation. My insatiable curiosity about the voice turned me into a self-proclaimed “voice nerd,” diving deep into techniques and methods to better serve my students. I’m trained in NeuroVocal Method, Estill Voice Training, rock vocal techniques, and I’m a Certified CoreSinging™ Teacher. I’m also a proud member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and Chicago NATS. Over the years, I’ve worked with an incredible variety of singers. My students have included American Idol finalist Devin Velez, and artists performing with prestigious companies like the Joffrey Ballet, and appearing on platforms such as Hulu. I’ve also had the joy of teaching hobbyists, helping them build confidence and skill for personal enjoyment. My youngest student was just 4 years old, while my oldest—a vibrant 95 years young—continues to prove that it’s never too late to pursue your passion.
