Patrick Gillespie is a trombonist who has been performing and teaching in the Washington D.C. area for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from West Virginia University and a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of North Texas. Former teachers include Michael Wheeler, Dr. Keith Jackson and Tony Baker. Mr. Gillespie has performed with the West Virginia Symphony, San Angelo Symphony, Jimmy Dorsey Band, Denton Public Theatre, Virginia Grand Military Band, Annandale Brass, The White House Quintet, Manassas Symphony, Loudon Symphony, Gainesville Chorale and Manassas Chorale. He is an established private teacher in the northern Virginia area for over 18 years. Yearly, his students are selected for the Virginia All-State Band and many past students hold full time performing and teaching jobs throughout the USA.
