SarahAnn Duffy holds a master's degree from the Bard College Conservatory Vocal Arts Program and a bachelor's degree from New England Conservatory.As a passionate and dedicated educator, SarahAnn has previously taught for education programs at the Aspen Music Festival, Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Days in the Arts at Tanglewood, and New England Conservatory.SarahAnn was recently seen as Zerlina in Don Giovanni with dell’Arte opera Ensemble, Rose in Star Wars: The Last Maestro with the Albany Symphony and and the mezzo soloist in Laud to the Nativity by Ottorino Respighi. She also appeared as Valetto in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Betty in Salieri’s Falstaff and her first performance as the alto soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Classics on Hudson. Equally passionate for contemporary repertoire, SarahAnn debuted at the National Sawdust where she performed two New York premiere songs in the spring of 2019.Community outreach and engagement is a large part of SarahAnn's musical life. She has performed for the Maria Fareri Children's hospital as well as local schools and healthcare facilities.Her teaching method encompasses aspects of many disciplines through proper breath and support, healthy and natural singing of all styles, and dramatic integrity. She believes in an individualized, dynamic approach and aims to build confidence and technical skills in a joyful and healthful way.
