Yekaterina was born and raised in Soviet Union, where she studied piano since she was 5 years old. She got her piano education in Kazakhstan, Soviet Union, where she won several competitions and received a Bachelors of Arts in Piano Performance and pedagogy. Later she advanced her education in the university of Cape Town, South Africa, under the guidance of a renown British pianist Graham Fitch. Yekaterina is an active performing pianist, with regular concert appearances, and in her spare time she loves sharing her love for music by teaching piano performance, piano technique and practicing skills. Yekaterina has an extensive international experience (over 20 years) teaching piano and music, and she is equally comfortable teaching in English, Spanish or Russian. Additionally, Yekaterina holds a professional Child Psychology diploma.
