A versatile cellist and teacher, Dr. Henry Myers has delighted audiences with his dazzling blend of technique and shrewd musicianship. As chamber musician and recitalist, he has performed throughout the United States, with recent engagements including concerts at the Eastman School in Rochester, New York, Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and Truman State in Kirksville, Missouri. Nik Hooks has enjoyed a varied career as a chamber, orchestra, and solo performer, having concertized in renowned venues across the globe. In 2019, he won the Principal Bassoon position with the Billings Symphony Orchestra and was the grand prize winner of the Sherman Walt Merit Award Competition. He holds a Performance Studies Certificate from The Colburn School and a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory. His primary teachers include Judith Leclair, Richard Beene, Richard Svoboda, and Rick Ranti.
