Eli Heath is an emerging American bassist, composer, and musical director. He has appeared on recordings and at major festivals and venues across North America, Europe, and Brazil with artists including Kenny Werner, Luciana Souza, Charles Neville, Dominick Farinacci, and Jamey Haddad. Eli holds a BM/BA from Oberlin College and Conservatory in Africana Studies and Jazz Performance and is currently completing a master’s degree in Contemporary Performance at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute in Boston.

She is a founding member of award-winning old-time band, The Onlies, a recipient of the Vinson Award for musical excellence, and a composer of tunes which have made their way into festival sessions across the country. Sami now teaches and performs across the U.S., and has appeared onstage alongside Laurie Lewis, Bruce Molsky, Elvis Costello, Chris Eldridge, and Darol Anger.
