Born and raised in Nataf, a small village in the Judean mountains, I started taking piano lessons when I was 9 years old with my uncle who gifted me a harmonica. I was intrigued by the small and unique instrument which quickly became my main focus in life. In August 2014, I moved to NYC after receiving a full scholarship to study at The New School for Jazz. Shortly after moving to NY I formed my quartet with whom I performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as: Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Bric JazzFest, Le Duc des Lombards, Festival Da Jazz St. Moritz and more.
Learn MoreOver the years Roni Eytan has developed a unique way of playing the harmonica, by drawing on influences from a wide range of music, transcending the traditional sonorities associated with the instrument, and achieving a singular musical voice. Still only in his twenties, Roni has already performed with a galaxy of world-renowned musicians, such as bassists John Patitucci and Eddie Gomez, drummer Brian Blade, pianist-vocalist Kevin Hays and pianist John Beasley.
Learn MoreLucia Pontoniere is a musician and educator whose musical journey began with classical violin and expanded to jazz, Irish, and old-time fiddle. A 2018 Berklee College of Music graduate in Violin Performance and American Roots Music, Lucia has toured and recorded with her band, The Ladles, and as a solo artist. She teaches violin, guitar, and voice with a focus on creative exploration and personalized lessons.
Learn MoreLuca Ferrara is a guitarist and composer with an extensive background in jazz. He holds a BM from New England Conservatory, where he studied primarily with Joe Morris. Luca aims to teach his students the importance of finding their own unique voice in their craft, and how to refine their technique and musicianship to help carry that voice forward. He believes a strong foundation in the fundamentals of one's instrument and music theory is essential. Inspiration from jazz, bluegrass, and folk music can be heard in his latest original work.
Learn MoreI'm a professional guitarist and educator based in Chicago, IL.
